The research has been done. Minorities are only slightly less likely to have an ID, and most states that require ID have eased the path for ID acquisition, even offering free ID.
You say the research has already been done. How about a link?
25% of African-American citizens of voting age lack government-issued photo ID, compared to 8% of whites (GAO, 2015).
States may offer free IDs, but the cost of obtaining the documentation required is estimated between $15 and $58, depending on a state's requirements.

Please show us a situation where the cheapest scenario is spending $58 to be able to vote with a free ID card.

How do they know that? With no ID, how were they identified to be counted? Why weren't they given an ID on the spot?

It's not the cost of the ID that is prohibitive. It's the cost of paying all the fines and tickets and back child support required to obtain it. That's assuming they don't have outstanding warrants.

42.5% of Ballots Invalid,
Holy shite. This cannot be allowed.
If it was like .5% ok mistakes happen. But almost half the ballots counted? That’s lack of control and there needs to be a court ordered re-do of the election
the case concluded without lake winning. therefore you can surmise that the 42.5 was either wrong or a lie because if it were so any judge would be comfortable requiring a new election.
look further than this thread. there's a thread about the case.
and consider the source of this 42.5.
were they a witness willing to swear it? or just a propaganda to get clicks. lately we notice a lot of bs artists' bs melt under oath. 42.5% invalid. sure. check it out.

Two major errors in one sentence.

Are you saying that none of these people receiving any type of government assistance does not need a photo id? Seems impossible that our government gives out money without any requirement of identification

The costs and requirements to obtain certain forms of ID, including a driver's license, state ID, or free state ID, vary by state. GAO identified direct costs for these forms of ID in 17 states that require voters to present a photo or government-issued ID at the polls and do not allow voters to affirm their own identities and found that driver's license direct costs, for example, range from $14.50 to $58.50.
