Woke up early to a splitting headache. Tried Tylenol and a sinus flush, no dice. Then it was raining. So I didn’t go.

Man I hate hunting on sunny days. So hard to see with all the contrast in hardwoods. And it wasn't even warm sun, it was mid 30s with gusts 15-20 all day. Nice to get out early and watch the sun rise, though. I saw a random dog, he wasn't making trouble but he was over a mile from wherever he lives. Leash, nice and clean, so belongs to someone. Also saw 1 deer on the drive in, and 2 on the drive back, as per usual. Time to research laws about shooting from my vehicle...

Shot a pretty nice doe this morning. 115 lbs which is about as big as they get where we are.

Saw two flocks of woodies and couldn't get shots on either.
