Compliance, the movie based on this is really good.

It had me in disbelief just as much as Human Centipede.

It is almost impossible to believe it’s a true story.

At one point the guy convinces both the boyfriend of the store manager and one of the workers to perform felatio as of it is perfectly normal police procedure.

I havne't seen teh doc, but I can certainly undreestand how a young person in teh heat of a tense situation (even if it's manufactured) may believe he's talking to authorities and is scared shitless so would comply with cer3tain things even if we as outsiders may say "geez look at this guy c'mon".

But honestly you have to be dumb as all frick to do the quoted part ha. In what universe would you think the actual police would demand you do that?

Movie was too uncomfortable to watch toward the end. It wasn't just the creepiness b/c you knew it was a true story...but this overwhelming incredulous feeling...like what is this guy doing...the husband of the manager.

It's almost as if it was a study done to show how we question very little even in the face of doing crazy immoral things.

The movie was so visceral, it felt like a documentary. The whole point of the movie is to make you as uncomfortable as the leads in the movie. It does that effectively but there's little to recommend.
