they have this thing called the internet....and yea i have listened to most sports radio across the country in college towns...BR is one of the best
i like wjox 94.5 and then also the knoxville station to get other perspectives. columbus can be ok
like andy staples podcast,late kick, chuck oliver show, SDS podcast
im assuming you are wanting college talk.

BR sports radio, just like BR sports has go to be in the bottom 25% for real major colleges.
Think about it. All of the championships that LSU has "acquired" and we have a bunch of high school level radio shows to show for it? CATLICK HIGH!!!!!!!! (How many minutes did that take to get annoying?)
On actual BR radio? It's embarrassing, but then so is BR in general.

grandpa....we have this thing called the internet, allows us to listen to shows all over the country....you should try it

I really only listen in the morning and afternoon. Tbob has gotten a lot better than when he started and actually trys to be a good host now, he studies up and is knowledgeable. Yes he still goes on random sci-fi tangents but I love his and heaters actual player analysis.
Moscona is an a-hole but he’s our a-hole.
I listen to both on 100.3 and after 12:00 it’s GKat. I’d rather listen to static while simultaneously being punched in the face than that show.
Does 870 have some sort of lock down on sports radio that doesn’t allow other networks to flourish? Even 100.3 is out of galliano.

Actually, it’s the opposite. I listen to local shows elsewhere and BR radio is not that good. Radio is about the personalities as much as it the content, and BR doesn’t have good radio personalities. It’s Hanagriff and then a steep drop.
Of course, taste in “personality”’is personal. I just like that Hanagriff gives informed, honest opinions without doing too much screaming or hyping.

Sorry, kid, I guess I figured when he said "Sports talk RADIO" in BR, I thought he was referring to broadcast stuff. I forget that every 3rd grader can record a podcast these days and call it "radio".
I guess it's subject for a different discussion, but is online crap still considered "radio"? Does it transmit by radio frequencies?
