He was pretty ineffective this year. Not sure what was off with him, but I hope he has success wherever he goes.

Sorry he doesn’t want to stay and compete at LSU anymore

He's a slot guy. BK offense uses tight ends. He will do well in an offense that utilizes slot receivers. Good luck to the young man.

Tells you more about the program and the direction. He was a starter in 2021, he started some in 2022. Now hes gone.

Basically this, figure with Sampson, Brown, and even Parker, that’s more bodies in the receivers room. Not to mention Boutte staying and Nabers likely returning as well.

I thought the bleeds purple and gold though and was the best WR on the team?

Most of his targets last year were over the middle of the field. Guess where the ball didn’t get thrown this year?

Wonder if he goes back to vandy where he was committed originally.

Nope no chest and a quitter. It’s hilarious how this fan base moves the goal post for the players they like. Bech was selected as a member for SEC medias to represent the team and now he quit at the first sign of some adversity and competition for reps as a sophomore. If Boutte, Nabers, or even Thomas transferred the reactions would be way different.

I heard a theory from someone as we were watching the Tennessee game about him. The theory goes that Bech is a naturally hard worker and shined (shone?) under Orgeron because he was putting in a level of work that few around him were. This year however BK elevated the expectations on every individual and while Bech was meeting those expectations just fine his level of work was no longer unique and he got lost a little as far as what his place was on the team. I wish the best for him and think he might be one of those guys that will really benefit from a change of scenery.

With the guys on the roster and the guys we have coming in at WR, it seems like he would’ve had a tough time getting playing time next year.

He knew when he committed to LSU …that we had a deep receiver class coming in …Deon Smith …Chris Hilton… Malik Nabers …Brian Thomas Jr

I think people don’t care as much because his upside is even remotely close to those guys. We can easily grab a portal guy if his caliber if necessary

I'm surprised but yeah playing time would be tough to come by, so makes sense.

Call up Harvey Broussard and see if he still wants in
