The fact this these even exist and can financially stay afloat is mind boggling.

Humans have had a love for nicotine for 10,000 years and you wonder how a modern manifestation of that enjoyment stays afloat?

Religion/politics

Same load of bullshite.

Both are powerful entities controlling us.

I'm not religious. I wish I were. But my brain won't let me be. I'm an empirical evidence kind of guy.

Indeed. It does seem this way.

That is because there is a concerted effort of governments politicians and corporations worldwide to obfuscate the truth in order to serve agendas born from their own selfish ambitions.

See Twitter.

Lets try this again...what truth. Sounds like because you dont like the will of the people it must mean the people are being manipulated.

No sane person in the USA believes otherwise.

Are you under the impression that our politics aren't out of the hands of the average person?

Both are beliefs.
Which is why people get kooky when talking about them.

Every Christian and conservative should regularly ask if their priority is in the right place. How much of this issue is kingdom and how much is worldly. And if the latter, am I placing too much emphasis on it, etc.

It doesn't mean you can't take stances on purely secular issues, but if they dominate your focus, it's a problem, no matter how legitimate your argument for them.

I follow it closely for a while but I eventually get burnt out and tune everything out for a while.

I was responding to this statement.

quote:

The war on American culture is a manifestation of the ideals supported by our current politicians and their politics, not the sovereign will of the people.

No I dont believe that our culture is purely a manifestation of the ideals supported by our current politicians and their politics.

No sane person in the USA believes otherwise.

So only an insane person would believe the will of the people is not being manipulated? Is that correct in your opinion? If you like the direction the culture is going and the politicians elected though then we are free of manipulation?

They always have been to certain extent right? More so now? In some ways yes and other ways no I would argue. What do you think?

It is absolutely vital for all of us to unplug from the matrix from time to time. The stress of staying connected is sneaky. I often times dont realize its there until I disconnect for a while.
