I know y’all don’t want him to leave but it’s inevitable. What he did this year with the roster he was left with was nothing short of remarkable. Somebody is going to pay that guy.

I just hope we can get some continuity for once. 4 different DCs in 4 years is outrageous. OC changeover has not been great either

Probably not but I’m certain they could do worse.

This kind of turn over is good though means they are good at their job and did well for you. It’s the firing that hurt. I’m sure Kelly has a guy in mind when it happens.

I don't think House is ready to go just yet. He has 4 young kids that they just packed up and left Kansas City to come down south. He, his wife, and kids love Baton Rouge. I know money talks, dreams are real, and stranger things have happened...but I think Matt House stays in Baton Rouge for at least another year. He does have a long history in the NE part of the country, which makes it viable, but another year or 2 of success at LSU (with this kind of talent) doesn't close other doors in that region.

The report (at least the one linked) doesn’t say he IS a candidate, only that he COULD be a candidate. Kevin from The Office COULD be a candidate…but probably isn’t

If Cincinnati offers he is gone. All that shite you taking about don’t matter. Money and furthering his career does.

Plus I’m sure he realizes LSU would be undefeated with his defense and a competent QB.

Not sure why everyone thinks that because someone is good at calling X’s & O’s then the must be a good head coach. It’s totally different management perspectives. It’s why so many great coordinators end up dying on the vine

Just a really dumb statement. You should be ashamed.

He also said Denbrock is a candidate. Both are going nowhere.

Oregon is one of the schools to hire a DC to be the HC. It has to be the right one and Cincy is a good one for him to start his HC career. He even said he is looking forward to being a HC someday.

He's not leaving after one season. I can't imagine Cincy hires him.
