So, this is a secondary audit for tax fraud? Was that the stated rationale for this request? Based upon?

What happens if CONGRESS determines this for a citizen whose already been audited by the IRS?

What do you think tax filings are? The government that investigates and prosecutes tax evasion has had access to this since the beginning.

Are you expecting Congress to investigate tax fraud? Are you expecting Congress to be able to make Trump prove things in his filings.

They can’t. They will be able to see how his taxes were filed and perhaps get insight into basic info like his actual income etc.
