Burrow certainly was not a finished product his 1st year as a tiger, but he could always go through progressions and could anticipate when a receiver would come open. He was also running a very antiquated offensive scheme.

When Burrow stepped on campus he had what they call in real estate circles "good bones". And in 2018 he showed that 'Clutch' gene that he has. Remember Auburn on the road? Georgia at home? He really only played 1 bad game and 1 game where the team was overmatched.

The AtM game should have signaled that he was legit as a player and competitor. The Fiesta against UCF signaled Burrow does not back down, and only gets better if you try to challenge him. He could will the team to victory.

I've really not seen any of this from Daniels. We'll see what happens Saturday and in the Bowl game, but if Daniels doesn't show out I see real problems next year.

Burrow played pretty poorly in 5-6 games that year. In fact his only two decent games before Arky were against La Tech and MSU.
