Replacing Saban and Alabama as the premiere program in the country?

UPvote for YES
DOWNvote for NO

We're just asking questions, here...

That’s a bit premature. One title doesn’t make a dynasty.

I upvoted but I think college football has a lot more parity at the top when Saban retires. I don’t see any one program immediately just running shite, especially with the transfer portal being a thing now combined with the playoff expansion. It’s going to be almost impossible to stockpile enough talent to dominate the way Alabama did from 2008-2020

Not a chance with the offense Kelly runs and they just got blown out by Jimbo Fisher so....

LSU is not even close to the next so-called dynasty.

You’re right. I’d say if they win this year though with a couple apperances before this that makes a dynasty.

There are no more “dynasties” in football with open transfer portal and NIL. You will have teams that are always good and always capable of winning national championships but the time of back to back to back national championships for one team is over.

#Facts

At least parity it will be more even among the top 15, 18 programs with more "also rans" having an outside shot of making the playoffs, rather than "Bama, Clemson, tOSU and a team from the field."

In 8 playoffs (32 total spots), Bama has had 7 spots, Clemson 6, tOSU and Oklahoma 4 each. That's only 11 spots for "other" teams and only UGA and ND have gone more than once.

Those days are rapidly fading.

Kelly needs to get younger and more dynamic coaches. Jimbo never really had to alter his game plan yesterday. Sad sad sad. Kept running left and worked all night.

You’re really into those younger guys, huh?

How old is Nick Saban again? Bet you’d take him.
