You're not following very well. I said I watched "More than 50 over the past 2-3 years". You know, about when there was a world scamdemic occurring?
When did the show air? Sept. 2 2022. (The anniversary of Tolkien's death, btw)
As a longtime Tolkien fan, who's read much of his work, multiple times , of course I'm going to watch something relating to a series based on his works. It's of great interest to me and I should have been excited to see this series. But early on, knowing who had been hired, then fired, and everything leading up to the show's premier, it came obvious to me that this wasn't going to be Tolkien at all. And I was right. The showrunners even admit it. That's the entire POINT of this topic. FFS.

What did you think of the show when you watched it?
If opinions are your own the only way to form is to at least watch an episode.
Growing up I used to say Ishtar was the worst movie ever. It was like a far side gag I remember and my parents said it was horrible. So I said it was bad. I had never seen it. For years i used it as the worst movie because pop culture or it in that list. Then i finally watched it and it wasn't that bad.
I gave up on Rings of power after the second episode. Though i never got big into Rings.
If opinions are your own the only way to form is to at least watch an episode.

I've explained this a dozen times already. If it's not Tolkien, I'm not watching. It's not hard to grasp. Some are just being stubborn out of habit. It's too hard for them to grasp mainly, I suspect, because they just think 'Tolkien' is some generic fantasy author and they have no idea what they're talking about.
I do.
And so do millions of other Tolkien fans around the world.

Amazon spent around 1 billion dollars for this show. Under the premise that it would be faithful to his works.
It's not even close. And they ADMIT IT.
And because of that, I cancelled my subscription to Prime after 10+ years and don't use Amazon. Because what else can I do to show my displeasure in this woke treatment of Tolkien?
My interests don't exist to be approved of or understood by you or anyone else. Because they're mine.

That’s not hard to grasp. I understand, and yes the series was terrible (I know because I watched it and I love Tolkien’s writings). For me, a bad adaptation doesn’t actually affect the original material, which I can still read anytime I want. But I can understand not wanting to see it.
What is hard to understand, is watching 50 YouTube videos about a tv show you hate and will never see. I can’t imagine wanting to do that.

Then don't imagine it. Don't let it concern you. I did, and likely watched many more, to be honest.
But you're truly not getting what I'm saying. Again, for the 3rd time, this was watching videos about a topic which interests me and over a span of YEARS. Long before this show even dropped, back in Sept. 2022.
Jesus, stop being so focused on one part of a sentence and read the whole thing before you respond.
