This "red army" couldn't defeat Ukraine before the West started pumping billions of aid into the conflict. They were never a military threat. Prior to Trump, American democrats wanted to be besties with Putin. Wake TF up.

Awesome, here come the MSM talking points. So, by the admittance of your reply you knowingly and accept supporting legit nazis? As long as they are fighting the russians you support ukraine and azov? This is a yes or no.
We gave a trillion to Commies to take down Nazi German. What’s a few Billion to take down Russia and if s few Nazis who fight like hell get some, I don’t care.
Aren’t most of the Nazis in Azov dead or captured anyway?

It's amazing how the political winds shift. Now a bunch of Republicans are sounding like the anti-war flower children in the conversation.
Being the hegemon and the economic swinging dick of the world isn't easy and it's not always cheap. But it's better us than China or Russia.
Promoting isolationism sounds cool and neat in theory, but it also doesn't work. It's basically a liberal, progressive fairy tale adopted by Trumpsters because Trump has such a limited and piss-poor understanding of the realities of American foreign policy, and Trumpsters will repeat anything that Trump says or tweets or Truth socializes.

avoid my question
Nice sense of entitlement you have there, Skippy.

Estimates are that this fiasco has cost the US arount 100 billion.
If you think that is a getting the best bang for a buck, certainly you would agree that the 5 billion for the border wall would have been a much better bang.
Russian solders crossing the border into Ukraine is worthy of outrage but millions of people crossing the southern border in the last 10 years is not. Then giving untold amounts of money (welfare, schools, medical care, etc.) to these invaders over the next 30 years pales in comparison.
Dumbass.

This is a bad argument against helping Ukraine.
There never was a choice any of us here had to make. There never was a choice for Biden or Congress to make.
And besides we could easily do both.

Can anyone link to a story which examines the sums of actual military aid which we have sent to Ukraine? Because it does not appear that most of the money we see discussed is either military OR sent to Ukraine.

As just one example, the $40 billion last spring included $16 billion in humanitarian aid. It included about $4 billion in spending on OUR military and another $2 billion to the militaries of NATO allies. Of the remainder, much was not slated to be SPENT for months or even years.
“We should not be spending ANY of that!”
OK, that is the response I expect from most. Good for you, if voicing that sentiment makes you feel better. Knock yourself out. But that is not the question I am asking.
Then why bring it up? Why start a thread, asking 1 question, then adding a caveat to your question to excuse the spending, then follow that up with, "that's not the question i'm asking"? Are you incapable of posting like an intelligent human?

It's truly sad to see how former anti-war liberals have devolved into blood thirsty war mongering leftists.

Your own statement in the OP is irrelevant to your first question in your OP. No wonder people treat you like a smug jackass when you can't even create a coherent post.

This thread itself is a derail, nothing more.
You've spent two solid weeks obsessively defending pedophiles and groomers.
You are starting this thread as a distraction, nothing more.

Yeah. Hank suffers from the same disease the mainstream media and twitter bots suffer from. As soon as facts begin to show the hypocrisy of his posts, he tries to pretend those old subjects no longer exist. Kind of like the media going radio silent now that they found out the gay nighclub shooter was "non-binary".
