The nicer hotels within walking distance to campus are $700+/ night. Everything else is still high, but not as bad. I’m looking at booking the Hilton in College Station but wondering if anyone had any insight on Hotels that offer shuttle service to campus or anything like that. I’d prefer not to have to worry about parking on game day if I can help it. I guess Uber is always an option, but not sure how that would be on a game day.

I'm staying at the Knights Inn. 1.5 miles from Kyle Field. Walk to Northgate and through campus. It was fairly cheap. As long as I can freeze out the roaches with the A/C I'm good.

We got a BnB a couple miles from campus

Navasota at a Comfort Suites.
MUCH cheaper. We go to quite a few away games and save money doing it like that. Stay an hour or so away from Stadium in these smaller SEC towns and you'll save a bundle.

I haven't been to College Station in 25 years. What's our best bet for late night eats with three teenagers after the game between College Station and Navasota?
The only Denny's I see are right by campus and NW of town.

Stayed there 2 weeks ago. Nice but they screwed up the charges on my credit card so now I have to dispute.

There's a Whataburger on SH 6 at William D Fitch in the Lowes parking lot. There's a Walkons at same exit on southbound side right after you exit, but I don't know how late it stays open. There are some other fast food options at same intersection as well.

The Hilton is way overpriced for the accommodations...
I'm debating about coming up from Sugar Land on Friday evening and hanging out at Northgate, but I may be getting too old for that and there's still a chance of rain Friday night.

Outstanding. That'll do, pig. That'll do!
I always have some waters and snacks in the car for post-game traffic. So it don't matter if this one is busy and the line is long. It'll be perfect. Thanks!

Harvey Washbangers is a cool late night spot. It’s a burger joint that doubles as a laundromat

Thanks. That's a frickin hilariously brilliant concept for a college town. If we're on that side of Campus after the game, we will check it out. But that begs my next question. Where should we park? Is there a $20 lot or something free within a mile of Kyle Field?
ETA: I'm checking out their website now for GameDay parking and we are some useless mothefrickers at LSU.
A&M has a user friendly website showing you exactly what roads are closed on game days and where you can get and park and what's closed off. Genius.... or Common sense for a big school with 100k fans on Game Day.
At LSU we can't even get an answer on when the TD Village Lots closes to cars, or where the Shuttle will go that day.

This is the Public Pay Parking Map but it's hard to see like this. Those green shapes are parking lot. It's interactive and zoomable on the site.
But just Go to this link and start there. It's very intuitive.
