Planning a trip to greece next year for 10 days. Pretty sure we will do Athens and Santorini for 3 days each. Any other spots we should hit up or any tips in general for greece?

We’re going in June. Planning to fly Houston to Athens. Spend first night in Athens. Gonna do 4 days in Naxos and 4 in Santorini. Never been but there’s a pretty good greece thread on here I’ll try to bump for you.

Most people agree that you really do not need 3 days in Athens unless you really want it. If your flight gets in early enough you can go see the Parthenon and then head the islands the next morning. Or just skip it entirely. The city does not have a good reputation.

Some other islands to check out:

Naxos
Paros
Milos
If you like to party and are a baller, Mykonos
If you like to part and aren't, Ios.

My wife and I are going next summer for the first time. We have booked flights and AirBnB's but haven't fleshed out the itinerary yet.

This is what we have so far:
MSY-Santorini
3 nights in Santorini
3 nights in Naxos
3 nights in Athens (late arrival, 2 full days, early flight out)
ATH-MSY
Plan on doing either high speed ferries or local flights between islands.
