I remember that when I was stationed in Alabama while I was in the Air Force. After we won they printed in the paper a bunch of pigs flying. It was great.

Very fond memory for me. My dad was on the phone with me through much of this game and I'll never forget him saying "We beat those damned, a-hole bastards!" Little did I know at the time that he would pass away 6 months later.
I think of you every day and miss you greatly, Mom and Dad, and the Tigers will beat those bastards again!

Sorry about that. My mom died from cancer two years after that game.
I don't know about you but this is starting to feel like one of those games you just believe and know we're going to win.

OK .. can you guys explain to me? Was this just something from the media? Did they make reference to it BEFORE the game about LSU winning when pigs fly?

You are on to something dude. Why not. Hell, I remember the "oranges game" against FSU in the early 90's. Would love to see them pigs a flying.
