What are you basing this on? He looks like a great lineman, and I think he has All-SEC potential, but I have never seen him take control of a game. Maybe he will, but this is hyperbole at this point.

Love where your head is at, and I'm not saying you're wrong, but we're losing BJ, Ali,Baskerville, and most of our DBs. I expect us to field a great defense, but it's far from a given at this point.You don't replace BJ with Jones and just expect to be better there. As good, maybe, but our front 7 won't be the issue.

How do you figure?

Losing a lot on the d line. Some players will have to step up.

Secondary will be young. Will have to hit the portal hard again.

It has a chance to be a good defense if a few things work out°
