That’s all bullshite. I’ve done hundreds of dentals. Don’t need lab work. Don’t need monitoring. Don’t need all the drugs listed. 20 years ago we charged $45.

Yeah we also used to drill into peoples skulls to release demons and bloodletting was a thing. Human medicine can evolve but veterinarian medicine cant?
I also know a vet who didn't monitor his patients during surgeries and dentals or do bloodwork. And guess what, he would have patients crash a die on the table not knowing why.
And if a veterinarian did any of that these days and the state board found out you'd have your license stripped in a second.
