I’m calling for Mississippi to establish a Parents’ Bill of Rights that recognizes parental authority over their children’s lives and education.

Impressive. Why are so many politicians missing the obvious?

I'd prefer we abolish our public education system completely, but baby steps... we might get there one day.

This will definitely improve the education of Mississippi's students. In fact, it's pretty much impossible to make it worse.

Wonder if this will apply to vaccinations. MS is one of the few states that don't allow for religious or philosophical exemptions to big pharma's immoral products, right along with CA and NY.

I suspect that this "Parents' Bill of Rights" will protect only the "right" to do things that the SoCons think that parents SHOULD be doing ... as opposed to giving parents the right to raise their own children with minimal governmental interference.

Parents are the primary educator of their children. Liberals want to switch that to the state.

I'm not saying your pronouns, cupcake.
Teachers can no longer evangelize in class. A win for all of us..
