Every time Dems have a stupid idea, we bring up the slippery slope issue, and what their proposed ideas will eventually lead to.

Their response "that's crazy, you are being unreasonable and using a slippery slope fallacy, we wouldn't do that"

And yet, like clockwork, every time we end up getting exactly what we said it would lead to. Look at this current election madness, the Dems were able to convince weak, cucked Republicans into going along with it because of the "pandemic", we were told it's "an emergency". Good natured Republicans went along with it, because Covid was so scary, and now here we are. Our elections are forever fricked in perpetuity.

And they continue to run the same scams on us over and over again. Tricking good natured moderates and weak conservatives to going along with their deceptive plans. If you argue against, you are labeled as being an obstructionist, hard headed, and a conspiracy theorist for thinking they would take advantage of what ever new shiny toy the Dems were gifted with.

My first thought: Entropy naturally increases in a system over time.

Second: The right has a tendency to support a more moral framework. The left has a tendency to want things more lax. This makes it like a parent / child relationship, so every time the parent gives in, the child becomes more spoiled and undisciplined, and the parent / system becomes undisciplined in that moral context.

Add to this that the kid in the analogy knows he's lying when he says he wants just this one thing / this one time. Once the parent gives in, it establishes precedent, and the spoiled kid will push further.

This is why you never compromise with these people. When they cry and demand you apologize for hurting their feelings, you tell them to frick off

Over time conservatives have slowly given the left ground to make them shut up, and you see where that got us..

The "Slipper Slope Fallacy" has literally NEVER, in all of world history, actually been a fallacy.

It means just as much if not more to the Left to push something down the throat of the uncultured masses than their own personal freedom.

This is the correct answer. Conservative policies overwhelmingly are about maintaining the order we have created from chaos. Progressives policies simply lead to more chaos - every single time.

The slippery slope fallacy is only fallacious when it uses unreasonable steps to justify the conclusion. Otherwise, if you can show how logical progression of reasonable steps follow from your premises, then the argument can be valid.

I’d say keep using the “slippery slope” and then justify your reasoning by showing how the left’s general worldview, policies, and history support the conclusion.
