Does his ego split the Republican/Conservative vote?
Does this happen if DeSantis is or is not the nominee?

100% he will. And he will get 25% of the vote in a strong 3rd. He will think he won along with 90% of his voters.

Who will then go onto to bitch about 4 more years of a pedophile running the country.

He would 100% try to railroad any R nominee if he lost

I cannot understand what the hell made him say what he said the other night. It’s just crazy about the timing and all.

If he decides to run, it'll be as an independent. He won't get the Republican nomination.
So to answer your question. Yes, his ego will split the vote and we'll get Gavin Newsome and all his hair product as President.
By the looks of it, he's planning something and we know this because he's attacking Desantis.
The rational MAGA's will peel off and support Desantis. The bitter enders will stay with the Donald and we'll get a split vote. If that happens, we'll all ultimately come to the realization that Donald Trump is the worst thing that's ever happened to the conservative movement.
Our biggest fear should be that Trump takes the Nero approach. If he can't have it, no one will. He'll burn the Republican party to the ground before he gives it up to someone who could out perform him.
He's already struck the match.

If he can’t have it, he’ll wreck it.

His level of narcissism is unlike anything we've ever seen.

More like Teddy Roosevelt

Trump has only be a Republican for 6 fricking years. He was hanging out with the despicable left (Clinton, Epstein, etc...) most of his adult life until 2015. So soon all the trumpets forget.

All of this is true.

Not. Even. Close.

Lol. The neocons turned the party of limited government into one of permanent war, nation building, mass surveillance and big deficits. Trump purged them almost completely from the party, which I believe is the greatest achievement of any Republican President in my lifetime.

Did you vote for Romney? Tell the truth.

No kidding. Trump is what he is. Yet these crocodile tears about Trump destroying the integrity of the “conservative” movement are hilarious to read!

Trump is the Frankenstein monster the GOP created.
Now they will have to kill the thing, or it will kill them.

Probably, or a few million of his people would just stay home with his encouragement.
Which is part of the bind DeSantis is in. He's got to gauge whether he can land a knock out blow against Trump if he got in, and if so, how he could deal with the fallout of humbling many of his would be voters' hero.
