Interesting nonetheless.
I doubt he bought the company without expecting large amounts of turmoil in the beginning. This sounds like bankruptcy to restructure the debt not close shop.

"Elon Musk is doing an all hands with Twitter employees. They got a one hour notice and he showed up 15 minutes late."

Well their last financials had a operating income loss of $344MM. With the adverstisers on the run I’m betting Q3 and 4 would be a multiple of that
It has about 2.6B in cash and a fairly healthy balance sheet with low debt / equity … but at -$400MM per quarter that will evaporate fast

Also, there's more than one type of bankruptcy. It could be a tactic to simply restructure the debt he took on to purchase Twitter. People see bankruptcy and immediately think it means the company will be gone forever or Elon will have to firesale it. People are stupid.
