The tipped ball is pretty inexcusable. The ball was clearly tipped, I mean Wingo's finger literally bends backwards. It was like they said "yeah yeah it was tipped, but that wouldn't be fair because it wasn't tipped hard enough"... so they chose to enforce the "spirit" of the rule there, but for the fumble Brooks recovered they say "sorry, letter of the law, nothing I can do."
