Key difference in Kelly vs Saban

They posted earlier a video of the pregame meeting where CBK was talking to the team; and after seeing it, I realized how different he is from Saban.

Saban coach’s perfection and anything less is failure. Kelly seemed to coach passion and effort. He states the treat may make some mistakes but that comes with playing hard and giving your all. Saban showed his personality after the Emory TD berating the LBer. After mistakes, Kelly supported the players with guidance.

It’s a breath of fresh air and I can see why the players seem to love Kelly. He is in it for them first and not purely about winning. Saban, on the other hand, only cares about winning and it shows.

I wouldn't trade Kelly for Saban in his prime.

You capture the differences very well! Saban's self interest are never far away in his style, whereas BK's knows through everyone's interest is comes his own.

I would MUCH rather play for BK!

Easy with this. Rantards prefer a demonstrative arse eating coach when a player makes a mistake.
