Um, no. The dumbass who controls the music takes the crowd out of the game. Example 1: (as it was in the past) It's 3rd and 3. No music. Crowd starts yelling soon as they break the huddle. Noise builds to a crescendo as the QB is trying to change the play. QB walks up to players yelling the play call. It's LOUD. Not every player gets the change. False start, delay of game, busted play, whatever. Crowd did its job and congratulates self. Example 2: (as it is now) It's 3rd and 3. Jackass who controls the music thinks he's a fricking DJ. He knows he has to stop the music when the ball is snapped so, being the smart-arse dick that he is, tries to time it up to one second before the ball gets snapped. Crowd not paying close attention and starts to yell as the players are already at the line. But the defense has already been looked over and the play change goes off without a hitch. CROWD FAIL. So, our own crowd is taken out of the game by some dipshit who thinks he's a DJ. Music should stop when they break the huddle and give the crowd a chance to get into the game with the noise we're known for.
