I heard this morning that saban has talked to ricks about not getting too worked up about playing this game bc he’s facing his former team. If I were Hankton I’d be telling my guys to try to get in his head out there.

If he’s emotional I could see him getting a personal foul for something. Just an easy opportunity to force him to lose his focus.

Any of our receivers really good at shite talk?

You know he loves to jump routes. I would try to hit him on a double move early. Talk about getting in his head right away. How about giving up a bomb for a TD?

I know Eli will have a bunch of emotions about this game. However, the Bama corner to pick on is Branch. He gets beat easily and grabs and tugs when he does. That's who Tenn picked on and got PI calls when they didn't beat him with the throw.

He will love the hate on Saturday.

So we should throw roses on the field for him and flood him with pleasant words.

I'm sure he listened well and this will be top of mind in the heat of the moment when he has the spotlight.

Kayshon would be the perfect wide receiver to get in his head lol

Why would Ricks care? He never really liked LSU or wanted to be at LSU and then before his last season transferred to their in-conference rival.

I'd be shocked if Ricks cared at all.

Again, this is predicated on him caring a lick about LSU.

Ricks thinks he’s the greatest CB in the country and doesn’t want to be perceived that he made a mistake leaving LSU. He’ll be trying to prove himself more in this game than any other.

Here's the thing- regardless of his mindset they need to tell him how big of a traitor pussy he is all game.

Before his emotions we all know how vulnerable he is to double moves. The kid gambles for pick 6's constantly and he's not a burner.
This feels like a matchup that Boutte can win all night

Ricks is a boss sideline to sideline. You can make him commit, he loves to jump routes.

It can be his Achilles.

The 2 corners are Kool-Aid McKinstry & Ricks. (Terrion Arnold was previous starter… maybe you’re confusing him as the CB who got picked on? He was benched for Ricks after Tenn)

Other DBs are Branch, Jordan Battle, & DeMarcco Hellams.

Love to see us get physical with him. Get the ball out his way with an OL in front.

I love that this is getting talked about more and more. I hope Ricks is reading. There’s an article on ESPN talking about the game and it’s all about Ricks

I think this may be a good time to try to force the ball to Boutte... he's healthy, back in a rhythm, and might be motivated to show out bigtime against Ricks.

I could see him going off for a huge game, despite what we've seen this season so far.

Idk why he would be emotional or pissed off, he voluntarily left. Unless there’s a backstory I’m missing.

I'd I'm a WR lined up across from Rick's, id mention to him every play that he transferred just to not play a down
