Because this isn’t the same old song and dance as it has been over the years. Bama is not the Bama of old. LSU has an actual coach and QB this year. It’s in tiger stadium at night. We’ve had MUCH worse teams give Bama all they can handle 2021, 2016, 2014,2008).
Saban often struggles with very mobile QBs. Can’t get much more mobile than JD5.
There is definitely hope here.
