Going to France with my kids(7,5,1). Need some advice

We already have the places booked in VilleFranche(staying at air bnb on water)and Provence (staying at Hotel Crillon Le Brave)
For Paris, we are choosing between a basic small hotel adjoining rooms in St. Germaine or a nice apartment in the Latin district. Which would ULL choose in my position?
Also, any recs for a family going to these three places?

With kids that young go St Germaine and stay near Lux gardens. Depending on when you go to the garden have tons to do.
Other advice, is to find Notre Dame and draw a circle around it and stayed in that space
I leave in 17 days. Will let you know how it is.

All my advice is based on reading Rick Steves book and watching Jay Swanson and Le Freches on YouTube

The Latin Quarter and the St Germain district are right next to each other. Without knowing more details I would pick the St Germain.

But I’ve also been told in this board that my kids, especially my 1 year old, will appreciate it far more than Disney world as well

lol...your 1-year old will have forgotten that trip before it ends.
The 5-year old may remember pieces of it for a couple of years.
The 7-year old will remember some of it for a little longer.
You, on the other hand, will have the memories forever.

Latin Quarter and St Germaine are neighboring districts so I wouldn't say there is that much difference between the two.
Sounds like the LQ one is pretty close to the Seine and likely pretty close to a Metro stop judging from its distance from Notre Dame, so that could be pretty convenient.
I do also like the idea of staying near Luxembourg Gardens.

We are leaving Nov 13 for 15 nights in Paris with kids 9, 6, and 4.
We are staying in the Latin District in an Airbnb, my wife has been to Paris 4 times and she picked the location.
One tip in the big city OP, is to not rely on public transportation as much as uber/ taxis. Not necessarily in Paris, IDK yet to be honest. But all those little extra steps add up, and its worth paying for a central location with less public transportation. The kids just get worn out pretty quickly.
As far as a hotel v Airbnb, it depends on your plans and expectations. Location as well, honestly. Paris has some short term rental restrictions so be careful as they aren't supposed to rent for more then like 90 days. Airbnb only allows 90 days a year for example. So I think a lot of them hustle around it. Benefits of an apt with kids is the ability to store and cook small meals and food like snacks, washer and dryer, etc.
Eta: With small kids consider renting a car when you are outside of Paris, but then you also have car seats. But a car rental helps so much especially with a 1 year old because you'll have a place to store your luggage, the baby to nap, keep a cooler of snacks, etc. Train system is great but you are still all on your own and often times the train stations are a good walk to where you need to go. Again those little legs just get worn out with kids under 8-10.
