Hunt, how has White looked at 3rd? Dugas at 2nd?

Jay is coming on tomorrow. If y’all have some questions for him, fire away.
I think you came to the right place for questions Hunt.
Couple other people haven't hit on.
1. Is a big focus in these scrimmages for players and coaches putting an emphasis on working on weaknesses. You see some of the pitchers with high BB numbers. This may be due to them working on secondary pitches and trying to find confidence in them.
2. Guidry has not thrown off the mound this fall. Is the plan still to work him as a 2 way player or will he be focusing strictly on defense and hitting? May have something to do with his back injury he had at the end of his high school career?
3. We see Hurd being worked in slowly. How are they feeling about his performances and how has he felt after throwing the last few weekends off the mound for the first time in a while.

I like all of the questions so far.
What type of roles does he see for guys like Merrifield, Nippolt, and Ruddell? I single them out because they've all had a nice fall.
How much will R/L matchups matter for the lineup? In other words, could we see a platoon between guys like Kling/Ruddell/Stevenson/etc and/or Neal/Milazzo and/or Nippolt/Guidry/Thompson depending on R/L pitcher.
When do they plan to start Skenes on the mound? And, when/where will he be in the lineup before or after that?
How far along is Hurd? He's up to 2 innings. Is that just being extra cautious? Will be be ready to give us 75+ on opening weekend?
Who are they looking at as a weekday starter option?
Overall confidence in the defense?
Will we finally have a decent 3B coach?

A less important question: Ask if they expect to have all current commits signed at the early signing period in November.

I can answer #2. There is no plan for Guidry to pitch this year. At least that's what I have heard.

Fontenot had TJ. Out for the year

That's the million dollar question.

I thought he had the Seth Manness surgery?

I was watching and it looks like it got cut before the interview ended. Was disappointed. I blame Fitt.

No Noot or Little in the 30min practice video.

Hunt - As mentioned, you came to the right place.
Look forward to listening.

Project, I was told TJ but you could be right. Just going off of what I was told.
Ell, good question that I don’t have the answer to. I asked several times about him and was told he has no injury. I was told he has a lot of maturing to do. That may be part of it

Hunt on now with Jay FYI
I'll try to update with some answers to some of the questions asked on here.
Tommy White defensively has shown he can handle 3B. Has exceeded expectations this far with 1 error in 10 scrimmages.
Grant Taylor's role can be starter or reliver to get the highest leverage situations in the game. Not positive on which one but think Taylor can do great in either role.
Chase Shores the most ready freshman arm. Will be a future Friday night guy.
Jaden Noot update from Jay is that he had arm soreness and they have been very careful. Began throwing program this week and maybe throw to live hitters in the fall. Said the goal is to have him ready for spring. May not throw in any games this fall.
Feels much better about the infield this season. Everyone in the infield showing they can handle it defensively and will have a lot of options.

They spoke about Tre first. He’s gained about 15 lbs. His ABs are even better and he’s added power. He’s fully healthy as well obviously.

Noot had arm soreness coming off his season so they shut him down. He’s starting to throw this week. Good chance he won’t pitch in a scrimmage this fall. They want him healthy for the spring.

Only question Hunt used was the Noot one. Disappointed.

Yep, I was expecting a little more that's why I was going to update with answers. Then I just decided to edit with what he was hitting on. Just didn't start with the Morgan comments. You hit that part.
