Bring on the Night

Hard to believe 43 yrs ago and sounds so modern. What a trio.

Three talented musicians. Andy Summers is an underrated guitarist.

I rode on a bus with Sting in London in 1977 only I didn't know it at the time. There was this strange looking guy with bleach blond hair all dressed in black wearing Frankenstein boots toting a bass case with "The Police" stenciled on the outside cover. He kept staring at me and my friend, problably because my friend and I kept staring at him. I ended up seeing the band twice at the Centroplex back-in-the-day.

No smoking in the Assembly Center in 1983? Surely that was not enforced at the time?

Concerts I recall from that era were smoke filled booze and weed parties. But that was in the hinterlands of Shreveport. Perhaps BR was more refined.

That surprised me, too. Other thing is it wasn’t the PMAC, yet.

I saw the police the year before (1982) at the centroplex, the go-go’s were the opener. It was awesome

I saw them the next night in Biloxi.

Still have the baseball sleeved T-shirt.

Katrina got my ticket stub.
