Pretty much. That's a bunch of country folk. I am assuming they were saying the opposing coaches were using profanity? The officers might have tried to enforce something that they really can't enforce. Things get heated.
Do you think its an important issue that people need to know about?

The sheriff, in an attempt to violate the coaches first amendment rights, ran to the press box and picked a fight. The video was of such poor quality that even WordStar doesn't have it.
All this boils down to is, is cursing against the law? If they are not breaking laws, why is the Sheriff approaching them? Trashy, Ye. Against the law will probably be seen, as lawyers are sprinting to the coaches now.
