I’d still much rather live in Maine with no pipelines and use wood pellets in a stove or furnace than live in the area that map shows as the “solution”.

What's the price of heating oil and propane looking like this year? Because a lot of houses in Northern New England run on that. And wood and wood pellets.
Trust me, they'll be fine without natural gas.

Trump told them 5 years ago they needed a pipeline. He literally tried to approve one for them but it crossed a top of New York state and the dipshit soulless Marxists in the state were able to kill the entire deal.
So, instead Boston and NE began in importing LNG from fricking Russia instead because they couldn't get it cheaply via US production.
Ahead of the bad winter in 2019, Trump even tried to ship LNG on trains to NE so they wouldn't freeze to death, snd the media said he was creating a "bomb train."
Theyre all fricking scum of the earth.
Reap what you sow, bitches.

I don't care if they freeze. A lot of them voted for Democrats and will just have to reap what they have sown.

Solar panels and wind farms should heat their homes
If not, oh well, they’re green. That’s all that matters .

Maine is a weird state politically. Urban areas are hipster paradises. Step outside and its baw country. Been to Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire. Any of them are practically paradise compared to Louisiana. I see why so many hipster douche retards vote the way they do up there - they don't have shite to worry about besides feelings and mean tweets.
Outside of the more urbanized areas and people vote against the BS that leads to this sort of thing - but they are outnumbered.
maine voting demographics
Most of what that map shows up in orange is republican majority.
Maybe an energy crisis will cause the hipster locusts to leave to the "solution" area while the salt of the earth people will stick around and chop wood or burn pellets or heating oil as much as they want to stay warm while daring anyone to stop them.
And as for Massachusetts and Boston (Which is what the box is probably more worried about, let's be honest, nobody gives a frick about Maine and most of Maine does without natural gas and always has) honestly, frick them and frick that whole state. "Everything is illegal in Massachusetts." - mel gibson

You all really don't understand New England. It's incredibly rural outside the I-95 corridor and good amount of renewables are hydro and biofuel.
But go ahead. Everyone rags on Evil New England except when the Travel Board gets flooded with requests for suggestions going to Acadia NP or Cape Cod.

Every time I'm up in NH during the summer, I see all the baws chopping wood for the winter. They've got plenty.

Plenty of great people in the western part of those north eastern states. The coastal residents are the toxic ones.

They made their bed, now they get to lay in it. Hope they got some thick blankets on that bed to keep warm.
