You mean the 80's.

Miami can EASILY be back with NIL money rolling...just get some more rappers on your side in that city...all about celebrity, night-life.

And frankly just the right coach...remember how dogshite Alabama was before Saban arrived? How dogshite USC was before Carroll arrived.

Any program can be great again (except maybe Nebraska.)

Saban disciple!

I only list Kirby as a former assistant who has had continued success as a HC. Jimbo? Naaaah.

Hes a recruiter/CEO head coach.

It can work but he will need top recruiting classes and top assistants.

NIL money and location will bring in good recruiting classes but you need success in the field for it to be sustainable.

Does Miami have the worst P5 QB in the nation?

If he's not fumbling, he's throwing picks.

I don’t get the Cristobal hate

He sucked at FIU, and had one great year at Oregon where he lost a CFP spot because of Bo Nix and Jayden Daniels.

I don't think anyone hates him. I just think people question how he'll be a difference maker for a program who has hardly been relevant for nearly 20 years.

Great location. Terrific tradition. They continue to bring in big time recruits. Their administration seems to be taking the football program serious again

I really don't understand what the issue is. They need to build a brand new 40 or 50k on campus stadium
