When hazing goes wrong.

Ps. Why can’t we ever talk about the hazing that goes on in black fraternities? I don’t see many kappa sigs or lamda chis with big arse brands

I had a Differential Equations class at LSU with a guy who was a pledge in a black fraternity. During Hell Week, he carried a painted/decorated cigar box around with him. He finally passed out in class one day when I was sitting behind him and I used my foot to open the box. The only thing inside was a plain brick like you’d use to build a house or throw at an Antifa riot. Nice guy and bright, though.

The brands are a personal choice. No hazing there.

It's nowhere nearly as bad as when I pledged.

The brands are usually by choice, after the guys have officially crossed and are wearing the letters. That's not apart of the hazing.

Now, don't get me wrong, hazing definitely does go on, but unless you follow HBCUs or black Greek culture, you probably won't hear many stories.
