Any one could see JD made some baby steps last week but the negativity was so bad most wouldn't allow themselves to see it. Go back and watch the first half of the Tenn game. He was starting to trust the process. Not to the extent he did saturday night but he was starting to throw into tighter windows and when it looked like his receivers were covered. If it wasn't for the 14-0 hole who knows how much more he would have trusted. Yes he still missed some opportunities in the Tenn game. My point is I said he had taken a step forward and I expected even more against FL. maybe not to that level but obviously they saw something at practice that kept them wanting to give JD some rope. The process paid off. This isn't a sprint it's a marathon. A 2 yr marathon. That's when you can judge. As I've said before criticizing is acceptable at this point but a lot of LSU fans were irrational in their takes.

Why does it take a QB in his fourth year of starting so long to "trust the process" as you say. Makes no sense to me.
