Imo, his play calling and game planning hasn’t been good. He’s using a system he is comfortable with and not adapting to the weapons that he has.

He’s calling elaborate plays that take two things, protection of the quarterback and a QB that can read a defense and make decisive decision. We struggle mightily with both of those things.

Notice how Tennessee’s offense worked. They called plays that took the decision making out of Hookers hand. Daniels is a great athlete who struggles at the mental game. Denbrock needs to build an offense that reduces the amount Daniels has to process anything.

I didn’t come into the season expecting anything better than 8-4, I understand we had a culture problem and this wouldn’t change overnight. However, I didn’t expect us to be blown out by anyone other than Alabama. Denbrock has been bad thus far.

Is he game planning alone or is BK influencing the game plan? It’s BKs offense.

He is the worst offensive coordinator that LSU has had in the last 20 years and that is saying a lot

That’s a valid point. I’d imagine BK has his hand in everything and it’s majority Denbrock. Could be completely wrong.

Expected 6-6, at best, after FSU.
Just not sure where we get another SEC win. Still amazed we beat MsSt and Au with such horrible starts.

Yep, good analysis. Hiring a guy from
Cincinnati with little high-powered offensive experience was probably not wise by BK.

I’d like to see a different OC.

I think we’ll win one that surprises you and lose the ones that are expected. The roster still has talent, it’ll take the coaching staff making adjustments during the season.

1. Establish a run game.
2. Minimize decision making for Daniels.
3. Stop subbing in 17 wideouts.
4. Stick with a core group of LBers, build cohesion.
5. Bring more pressure on defense.

How about the players catching the ball,OL blocking
for the RB,the QB having patience, the Defense tackling
sombody etc. Always blaming coaches in the 1st year of
a rebuild is thinking with to much emotion.

Just get 6 wins and a bowl. Less than 40 players for a bowl. Not even a full 2nd team to practice against. Program was a complete rebuild. Saban had it good compared to this Orgeron debacle

Denbrock's problem is lack of arm talent at the qb position. Receivers who do not believe the qb can or will get the ball to them and the other teams defense does not believe Daniels will throw the ball in certain areas of the field.

you just proved you are a dumbfrick kid.

so miles had better concepts and plays? you do understand we ran what miles wanted from 2010 until his firing in 2016 right? he took the reins away from crowton in 2010 after JJ could not run crowtons scheme WAF in 2009. miles was basically the de facto OC for those years. wait you actually thought studrawa and cam were the OC's with carte blanche authority?

LOLOLOLOLOL

did you eveer hear miles correct cam on who has final say in play calling? we ran what les wanted.

we could have bill walsh corpse and it will not matter with JD.

It's like comparing chicken shite to dog shite. Slight distinctions but all shite.

What has Denbrock ever done to give you faith? We did better against Bama last year than Denbrock did

Daniels doesn’t have a noodle arm. He can sling it. He just doesn’t know where he wants to sling it to. Or he’s afraid of turning the ball over throwing a 50/50 ball and trusting his receivers to make a play.

Offensive game plan? Where? This is by far the worst LSU offense in 20+ years, and it AIN’T changing.

If LSU is 2nd and 5or less, it’s a zone read to the left side 80% of the time

He’s failed to adapt to his personnel. He’s never had a WR group like this and he can’t adjust to get them the ball. He’s still running TE heavy sets and damn near forcing the ball to Taylor over WRs running combo routes over the middle.

Orvloski was putting it nicely during the broadcast…it’s damn near impossible to have WR group like this and not have them involved.

Also, his play selection is all over the map and most plays require elite OL play (long developing plays) and NFL throws (deep outside)…LSU doesn’t have that, yet he keeps calling it.

Run game is non existent

What wrinkles or scheme change have you seen from FSU gane vs Today? I mean, we saw a jet sweep with Boutte one game…that was cute

Can we bring Coach E in to sit next to him in the booth and call plays for him?
