5 sacks against Daniels Saturday, how many if it were Myles? Myles can get the ball down field but he'd be dead by now with our OL.

Probably still 5, but Myles has the ability to set line protections, read coverages, adjust hot routes, and throw guys open, even on the run.

JD can't do ANY of that. They get the play, he walks up to the line, looks left and right (clearly in a daze) and just hikes the ball. No protection adjustments, no reading coverages, nothing. Just hike the ball and hpe everyone figures it out. First guy not WIDE OPEN, tuck and run or take the sack on a blitz.

Do you not remember how bad the OL was on 2020? That is what blows that narrative out of the water. The 2020 OL was as bad as this OL and Myles was still putting up video game numbers.

It really seems like a very poor player evaluation at this point. Coaches tend to be stubborn by nature, Kelly and Denbrock decided to go all in on Daniels and refuse to change. That is my biggest frustration, at least make an attempt to change, we aren’t even doing that.

You don’t seem to understand pro-style passers. If your QB isn’t a runner, you shorten the routes and get the ball out on-time in a rhythm. Even the worst line can hold for 2 seconds. Pro style are taught to move a step or two to buy another second. The often take less sacks than running QBs who look to escape rather than throw it away.

We are running longer routes with a passer who stares down primary read then starts to panic and scramble. We take sacks, including 3rd and 4 to take us out of FG range, that a pro style QB would never take.
