I have some family from out of state that are interested and they want to be scared. Most people I know said nothing ever happened when they went.

Got drunk and passed out in 90s. Didn't see nothing.

One of my former doormen soiled his pantaloons during his time as a concierge at the facility.

Take them to New Orleans if they really want to be scared.

No, but I been there to eat a good bit and they can make a double buffalo trace on the rocks with the best of them.

I've been once with a group of people and it is good for a Halloween thing, but getting freaked out?
Its a business. They have a good story that makes for something to do around Halloween and it draws in a lot of people. Even all year around people go stay there because its "haunted", but I don't believe in ghost or spirits so it didn't freak me out, but my entertainment value came from others who were visibly freaked out.
So its something to do, but I guess it all depends on what you believe as to whether it will freak you out.

Some of my relatives own an old plantation house (not the Myrtles). It's supposed to be haunted and they claim to have seen and heard things. I've stayed there a few times and nada.

A group of us went one time and a few of us went outside and smoked a blunt. Was pretty cool. We didn’t see anything.

My wife loves those haunting stories and I kept messing with her during the tour. We did enjoy the plantation and would recommend it.

Went there two weeks ago with wife and 12 year old. Pretty tour. Wife and I stayed there years back. No ghosts but a nice place to stay. The restaurant is great and the breakfast they did as part of the B&B was too.

I’ve stayed there twice including Halloween 20 years ago. Only spirits I saw had Bourbon in them. I even woke up in the middle of the night and laid awake for a while to see if I could hear something. Nothing. But overall it is a cool place with interesting stories. Side note: restaurant has the best damn blackberry-peach cobbler on the planet

Visited a handful of times and stayed two nights there. Absolutely nothing happened. The family history they tell you on the tour is bullshite. There were plenty of deaths and tragedy there, but not exactly the way they tell you. Read the real history online before you go. Still, it’s a fun place to stay, and St. Francisville is a nice town especially this time of year. Visit the cemetery at Grace Episcopal Church; it’s an interesting and oddly beautiful place. The museum at Angola is pretty nifty too. Of course there is the Port Hudson battlefield.
I’ve had friends who’ve stayed there and have claimed stuff happened to them. Mainly swinging lights and objects being pushed off nightstands and dressers.

I know a couple that stayed there and nothing happened as well. They got so bored they started moving furniture themselves to screw with the other people that went with them.
