Things of interest in Kelly’s press conference this evening

Kelly noted that Dellinger is performing well in a cast, implied that he seems ready to play. Kelly feels that LSU’s defense knows what to expect from and is prepared for Tenn’s offense. Kelly was adamant about wanting LSU’s offense to improve and help out his defense. Even though LSU’s defense is creating turnovers, Kelly explained that LSU’s offense can’t depend on that, it must improve and be more balanced.
TTT- Kelly seemed very confident in LSU’s preparation on defense for Tenn. And he keeps needling LSU’s offense, almost as to provoke a response for Saturday.

This is Kelly’s first top 10 opponent at LSU. This is what you come to LSU for. That alone has me amped up for this game.
He said he had confidence in Dellinger playing without limitations which was great news to me.
I liked how he basically said “watch us do it” without actually saying it when talking about how hooker hasn’t thrown a pick.
And yeah I think we are going to see a really aggressive offense this week based off his comments.

If LSU gets a lead or turnover early, the Stadium will ignite.

Interesting. A bit of Sean Payton. Calls the offense out without calling them out. I like it.

House is competitive as hell. I'm sure he's amped for the challenge and is projecting that on the players.

He seemed almost giddy about LSU’s defense getting a turnover this Saturday

House spent 3 years at Kentucky, so he has faced Tennessee before, but not with the likes of this coaching staff and talent Tennessee has now. We just will have to see what he has in store for them.

What a bad arse. I hope he clubs the shite out of a Tennessee lineman with his cast

Let’s see if he can fill the big shoes of Orgeron’s first 3.5 years

I don’t think Sean Payton ever had a 85 yard passing game though

He could fire his oc and the offense would be better.
I do love everything else we have seen from him though

This is the team to open everything up.. Daniels cannot play scared. The Auburn game was embarrassing and the passing game needs drastic improvement. There’s too much talent with the WR group to throw for 85 fricking yards

Very underrated aspect of the game. These coaches aren’t just winning for the money, they have a competitive drive to win.

Well, he doesn't have Joe Burrow. Orgeron without JB on his team was 2-6 vs top 10 teams

These types of games are where you earn a reputation good or bad.

Underrated comment here. Staff is full of men wanting to make their mark in a huge SEC game.
Well coached and prepared plus superior conditioning and a fired up crowd.
I like us, as Les would say.

We’re gonna keep the pimp hand strong and put this Hooker in his place.
