Life existed before social media and the bullshite that goes along with it.
There are plenty of studies out there that constant blue light stimulus and social media is every bit as bad for a developing mind as drugs.
Good Parenting is hard but the right thing is rarely easy.
Raise your kid right and he’ll thank you one day.
Take the easy way out and you’ll reap what you sow.

I'm not pro social media, but I'm pretty sure fentanyl is worse on the developing mind.

My family of 6 has a snapchat group we use to communicate for 2 years now.
Kids are 13,15,17,19.
I'm a terrible parent.

While our boys have cell phones (obviously), they are not on ANY social media platforms.
Are they nerds? Yep. Are they extremely well-grounded young men? Yep. And, they are happy with who they are.
Social media is seriously polluting young minds.
