I think it’s time.

I was against the “NBA-like” light show in Tiger Stadium for the longest, but I have changed my mind. I was at Bama in 2019 and I gotta say that when they were starting to pick up momentum in the 2nd half, that light display was not only entertaining, but intimidating because it helped to get the crowd really riled up.

I noticed the same thing on TV for the Auburn game this past Saturday.

I also think it’s a big recruiting tool because these kids today expect a light show like that.

So put me down as a “Yes” vote.

TL;DR: put LED light show in Tiger Stadium.

When they cut the lights at the end of the 3rd, you can’t tell me you didn’t think it was an awesome atmosphere.

Purple lights look better than red too.

I would be for it.

to me, LED lights aren't even like pumped in music... it's just adapting to the times and not taking away from anything else

I love that tRant gets pissed at the crowd for leaving early, but also wants to keep TS a stale atmosphere by not wanting it change with the times.

It’s a real catch-22.

I’m pretty sure we have the led lights in place. We use them for recruiting

LED lights trigger turnovers for the home team.

Old man rant here:

But I think the lights are too white.

Look back at those older vids and the lights seemed to have a yellow content to them.

Looks better for a team clad in gold.

That was my first night game in Auburn. The light show to start the 4th was impressive. It got the crowd into the game. They shot off a few fireworks as well during the show. Jordan Hare's sound system seems to be 10x better than Tiger Stadium.

I would be happy if they upgraded the sound system so that it didn't sound like the Jensen 6x9s in the back of Wooderson's 1972 Camaro.

I was against it at first as well since it was "gimmicky" but after seeing how Auburn used it to start the fourth quarter last Saturday, it was one of the coolest things I've ever seen at a game and pumped me up even though I was the enemy

The fireworks were awesome too. Well played Jordan-Hare

A friend of mine has epilepsy and he misses about 4 minutes of watching the game everytime they set off them LED things.
I keep telling him to not look at the lights but he can't help himself.

Or…. We could go retro vintage and be like Wrigley Field and The Masters and have manual #’s for the scoreboard.

Nah, I’m cool with whatever helps recruiting, but also don’t want to be a me-too school.
