Did y’all see mommy judge address the fake juror post from /r/justice4darrell?
Pour one out for the sub, as it got banned today.

R/drama also got nuked according to Reddit because they edited the juror post and signed it rdrama.
It looks like it’s back up (140k members) but all posts in the last 3 months deleted

He really should have just focused on intent the entire trial and tried to convince the jury that he panicked or something. He has moments where he presents a semi-valid argument but then reverts right back to the silly sovereign drama.

Based on lawful law?

The thing is, he had a reasonable doubt case there with the “intent” argument (slim chance, but not zero).
He just needs an actual lawyer to argue it for him.
He doesn’t know how to do it.

I don’t see how the jury needs more than an
Hour. I watched majority of the case while working from home and it seems like the easiest guilty on all counts that you can imagine.

While I agree the question of intent may have been there and a competent lawyer might have gotten him convinced on a lesser of reckless homicide instead of intentional homicide
But even then... he's getting convicted on more than enough counts outside of the 6 deaths that he'll be in prison until he ends up in the GROUNZ

High speed through the crowd.
Never stopped.
Ran away after.
Pray tell exactly what case could even a competent lawyer have made?

I missed the time he’ll have to serve on it, but if he’s convicted of even one count (the battery) his parole on the other charges is revoked.

That’s all I’m saying.
As they say, a lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client.

Just remember... a juror lied to get on the jury in the Chauvin case to make sure there was a conviction
Not saying this could be happening here at all... but just saying there is (fairly recent) history of it occurring

Lost control of vehicle, as noted by his initial swerving and not striking every person he saw.
Do I believe it? Absolutely not, but I would bet a decent lawyer could put together that argument better than Brooks put together whatever his defense was.

I feel like activist jurors will become more and more of a problem in this overly politicized world

Not gonna help him on all the hit and run charges that resulted in death though

He is fricked no matter what.
Any lawyer worth his weight in salt would do a better job than he did though.

And somehow magically regained control later to stop and back it into a parking spot?

The last thing they want to do is fill out 76 forms and read them out one by one while Darrell yells
Can you imagine if he asks for the jury to be polled on each and every count they find him guilty of.
