Ummm, does Les play favorites next year and Lee will have the job to lose? Or does he actually open up competition?

I expect an open competition. But based on the amount of reps he has seen in real games, I expect Lee to be improved and thus the starter. I think Russell Shepar will play just because of his natural game breaking ability and will come in to be the change of pace.

Garrett will most likely red shirt. Hatch will get buried on the depth chart.

The wild card is Jefferson- I am not sure where he ends up.

i see garret realizing all this and changing his mind back to MSU where he most likely could go right in and start.. just my opinion

If Jefferson is ever to start at LSU, he needs to show something NOW against Tulane IMO. The reason I say this is because coaches aren't going to want to go through the QB growing pains of this year again. JJ better show them something now, or I fear he'll get lost in the shuffle.

Lee has a great arm, Shep has fantastic running ability. You combine those two, with a year's worth of experience for Lee, and that doesn't bode well for Jefferson.

Hatch, IMO, will never play significant time again.

Garrett is odd. His stats don't really jump out and impress me, nor does his film, but he's supremely confident, which I like.

Good God. The kid has played pretty well overall. You MUST consider the entire year. How about the AU and USC game? Because without him LSU has no vertical passing threat and we lost those games.

Chill out. Lee will be fine.

Jefferson is the starter, Lee is the backup, Hatch carries the clipboard and Shep and Garrett redshirt.

Are you in the mood for another year of inconsistent and struggling QB play?

No way Shepard redshirts. GG likely will though.

Miles will play the one that gives LSU the best shot at winning, probably Lee with the experience. Players know the level of competition when thye come to LSU, and sitting the bench is a chance they take.

Okay I know that I will get my dick chopped off by you guys but I flew into a Lafayette, this past weekend for a wedding and the goalie for LSU hockey was there and he seems to always be hanging out with JJ and he told me that he said he is transferring to a Big East school after this year. FWIW

wrong again.

Obvious point.

No way Shephard redshirts, who knows if Garrett ever even comes to LSU.

JJ is the odd man out any way it goes.

You think we should start over next season with a freshman who has never played in an college game?

I think there is a better chance that Loston will come in and start at safety than for a new quarterback to win that job.

JJ needs to get atleast HALF the time in the Tulane game for Gods sake!!! See what he can do Les...

Shepard will be similar to Perrilloux his first season...

And Chris Garrett might as well pick another school cuz he aint playin
