The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau instituted a lawsuit on this against a company in Chicago.

CFPB is pretty much a Democrat fundraising organization.
They target a business and hold them up for fines, which get funneled into money being spent on “programs” through favored organizations.
No injured customer sees a dime from these frickers.
