Please explain jailbreaking to me

I’m completely new to this. I just got a PlayStation 5 and I love the graphics in all the Assassin’s Creed games. As crazy as this sounds I DON’T want to actually play the game. I want to just walk around and tour the open world.
To do this I’m assuming you need an invincibility cheat. Does jailbreaking allow this? When a PlayStation or Xbox is jailbroken does this mean cheats can be used?
Where is a good site to go to learn about all of this?

good luck jailbreaking a PS5. i don't even think the PS4s are jailbreak-able, yet. you're better off utilizing a PC for that kind of stuff. that's what PCs are good for. mods and hacks.

Do the AC games have a “story”, “narrative”, etc difficulty setting? That’s likely the closest you’ll get short of getting it on PC. Not an ideal solution, but I don’t think you have any others.

Odyssey and Valhalla have Discovery Tour mode where you can just walk around. Don’t know if it’s post game or not though.

I mean…. You could just play on the easiest setting which makes it legit a mission to kill yourself.

You need to do a complete tear down of the PS5 and remove the two anti-piracy chips that are highlighted in the orange and red squares.
