This should always have been a state issue.

Can you explain this a little more for me? It seems like any of my more traditionally minded friends throw the gun control talking point out & my beatnik friends say it's hogwash. Not sure what's what on the medical MJ card / gun purchasing stuff.

If you have a card, you can't honestly fill out the form saying you don't indulge and not break federal law, unless you're Hunter Biden

And even if you don't have a card, if you indulge and answer the form 4473 honestly, you don't get no gun. Doesn't matter if your state passed rec pot or not.

Google up a form 4473 that you have to fill out for gun purchases through an FFL. The questions on it would preclude anyone who partakes from getting a gun.

What part of that form says that you can't own a firearm if you are a LEGAL user of Marijuana?

Question E says: Are you an UNLAWFUL user?

If you have a medical license or live in a state where it's legal, then the answer to E should be no.

Sharp eye, I missed that. Sooo, having a med card or using recreationally where legal will be no different than having a xanax/Vyvanse script?
