Just wanted to compliment Charlie and Gordy on a job well done so far this season. They handle callers very well and they are well informed. I enjoy listening to them no Saturdays after LSU ballgames. I'd love to hear Gordy on the radio daily. He breaks it down well.

Girlfriend hates it, I can't get enough.

Top PostGame Moments.

1) The guy that broke down and cried this week.

2) Earlier this season. The white coonass that called in bitching about ESPN. He said they were horrible especially that "Herb guy"(Herbstreit) that "old guy" (Corso), and especially that black guy on there.

Charles H. cut him off and tried to explain, through obvious tears of laughter that he was probably referring to Desmond Howard(a Heisman Trophy Winner) .

ETA: I just accidentally called my girlfriend my Wife

Is this the end??

They are very good. With that strong FM signal that station booms into some of those outlying areas and they get some calls from some weird, angry people. It's good though. I think Gordy does a great job. I know he works his arse off all week in the sales dept and still putsi n the long hours on pre and post

Absolutely priceless! Incredible. I wish 98.1 would replay that for a while. Funniest thing I've ever heard on radio.

Yep. My ride back to Lafayette is great and when we get back home I even sit in the garage all alone just to catch more of it
By the time I get inside the girlfriend is crashed and the TV is all mine to watch GameDay Final. Damn I love Saturdays.

We are lucky to have such a good pre & post game show and announcers. Gordy & Hani

That post game show isn't the "network" show so they can be a little more balanced in their assesment

For the weekends when I don't just stay at my friend's house in Baton Rouge, the post game show really is great. I lose track of how bottle-necked traffic is down Nicholson listening to it, then it keeps me entertained for my drive down I-10 all the way back to Lafayette.

Much better than the post game show with Kevin Ford who tends to be "the company man" and will never criticize coaches and/or players. Charles & Gordy tell it like it is. I usually skip the post game show and wait for Charles & Gordy on the way home.

During Football season I think they'd be good on a daily basis. I know it won't happen but it would be very good to listen to

This is a leading reason why I refuse to leave the game before the alma mater. There's no point in getting half way home before the PostGame starts. They need to cut some of that garbage out and skip straight to Charles & Gordy.

Yea but that's his job. That first hour or so of post game is run by LSU Sports Properties. They pay him to be positive. I can't blame him for taking the check.

Hanigriff and Rush's post game is just their show that they sell to sponsor's. Granted Charlie does work for LSU during various parts of the year (such as baseball season) so he definatly never goes overboard.
