Naw man. These kids grew up believing that they had to promote themselves like this to the world and their perceptive intrinsic value is based on reactions to these displays. It's literally warped and re-wired their brains via dopamine reactions to SM reactions.
It's not even that they have to be displayed, it's the neurotic curation of the displays.
It's almost like we have 1/3 of our society living in a artificial reality

I teach college students, and the ratio of narcissist-to-balanced students is absolutely not staying the same. This is a legitimate problem with the younger generations, and it feels like there is nearly a year-by-year acceleration of the rate of hyper narcissism.
