What is your most surprising take of this LSU team thus far?

1. That LSU has quality depth in their secondary that can compete in the SEC?
2. That LSU’s young Oline can manage against a veteran Dline?
3. That LSU’s defense overall may be better than most defenses in the SEC?
4. That this LSU team could actually compete for the SEC West or finish higher than the Aggies, if Kelly can manage to improve LSU’s passing numbers a bit and LSU’s punt coverage?

Physically how much more stamina they have than in recent years. They outperform teams late in the game because they are better conditioned.

Honestly special team play. I want to focus on the positive but this has been so bad that if not corrected soon it will cost us another winnable game.

Grit, hustle, haven't noticed any loafing with the exception of one superstar. I still don't think we are very good due to attrition in previous years, youth, and lack of recruits from previous classes hanging in there.

With the exception of one player, this young LSU team does not fold nor get flustered period! That’s a huge surprise probably tied with the horrid play of special teams, especially with LSU’s athletes.

Not as much of a surprise with Kelly coming in but pleasantly pleased at the fight we have returned to the program. It’s what drew me to LSU as a young kid in the early mid 90s. Love to see it
