In the late 70s I found a diamond bracelet similar in size and type to the one at this link: Diamond Bracelet
I was either walking back from class or was on a short run if on that path.
It was in a parking spot outside a florist. I picked it up and went in and gave it to the woman who was probably the owner. Her jaw dropped.
It probably unclasped from someone while in their car and fell off on their lap, then onto the ground when they got out of their car.
The town at the time was full of wealthy people and also known as having more millionaires per capita than any other place in the U.S.
I went back two weeks later to see if anyone had claimed it. The same woman that I had given it to said that no one had brought in a bracelet and given it to them.
It was not mine to begin with, so I let it go. All that I wanted was the owner to have a very nice bracelet back in their possession.

A tiny kitten who had been abandoned on the side of the road. He was not weaned yet and some of the posters on this board gave me great advice about how to make his formula and feed him. He grew up to be a huge cat and keeps my place free of mice and all other vermin. Name is Baw.

A 12” pissed off immature cottonmouth moccasin.
No I didn’t catch him.poked him a little to get him to strike. Let him go.
Very pretty color.

A dead body. Not really, but I live in EBR, so there is time.

Surf Fishin in fourchon and $100 bill floated up and got snagged on my trout line. The booze was flowing that night!

When I was around 13 years old, while walking through the woods I found someone’s stash of dozens of porn magazines. It was a good day.
I too found a garbage bag full of porn mags behind the levee in Woodlake Estates.
