Hey anyone,
Does anyone know how to make the delta hot tamales like Muffaletta’s use to serve back in the day on North Blvd in Baton Rouge?
I know Pimanyoli’s on Airline Hwy is just about the same and just as good.
I want to learn the recipe for myself, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks everyone

Man I miss this place. Use to stop and pick up 4-5 dozen and bring them back to our office when I passed down that way.

Google “delta style hot tamale recipe” and you’ll have options.

I know the family from Muffaletas very well and they will not give up the recipe.
In fact I saw one of the kids at pimanyolis not long ago.

There is a black lady that comes to the Denham Farmers market every Saturday and her Tamales are unmatched to anything ive eaten in recent years.

Why? Are they still making tamales and selling them?
